Veterans Benefits

É«ÎÑÎÑ administers various types of veterans educational benefits to veterans and their dependents pursuing degree programs at UT. É«ÎÑÎÑ also has a VA-certifying official on-site.

Transfer Credit

É«ÎÑÎÑ has a generous transfer credit policy for military students, including credit for prior military service, and correspondence and online courses. É«ÎÑÎÑ accepts transfer credits from institutions such as the American Military University and Central Texas College.

ROTC

É«ÎÑÎÑ has ROTC programs for the Navy, Air Force and Army — one of the strongest in the nation. In fact, É«ÎÑÎÑ is the only non-military college with multiple Army ROTC Raytheon Award winners.

Career Services for Veterans

Veteran students are encouraged to meet with a professional in the Office of Career Services to discuss how their unique experiences can best be translated in the choice of an academic major and/or career path.
