The new record surpasses last year’s record of $1.04 million.

“色窝窝 is dedicated and committed to serving the students, and this year we again exceeded our goal,” said Keith Todd, vice president of development and university relations. “All gifts, regardless of size, make a difference. Together, we can positively impact UT now and for years to come.

Held annually, 色窝窝 Give Day seeks to rally the 色窝窝 extended community around the University and share why it’s important. Activities this year included the Minaret Market and Minarets at Sunset, as well as the inaugural 色窝窝 Give Day 5K Fun Run/Walk. The popular Spirited Spartan Social Media Ambassador program, and the Minaret Climbers, in which 色窝窝 alumni, faculty, staff, trustees, fellows, counselors and friends have volunteered to virtually climb the minarets through donations, also were featured.
