É«ÎÑÎÑ Ranked in Wall Street Journal and Forbes Rankings
É«ÎÑÎÑ has recently been ranked both in the Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education (WSJ/THE) College Ranking 2022 and the Forbes Top Colleges 2021 ranking.
É«ÎÑÎÑ has recently been ranked both in the Wall Street Journal / Times Higher Education (WSJ/THE) College Ranking 2022 and the Forbes Top Colleges 2021 ranking.
In the WSJ/THE ranking, É«ÎÑÎÑ is ranked in the 501-600 level, out of 796 colleges and universities, based on four “pillars”: resources, engagement, outcomes and environment. Within the South region, É«ÎÑÎÑ ranked 116th out of 208 institutions.
É«ÎÑÎÑ was best ranked in the area of environment, which includes faculty diversity, international students, student diversity and student inclusion. In this category, É«ÎÑÎÑ ranked No. 376 out of the 796 colleges and universities.
The WSJ/THE College Rankings, now in its sixth year, says it is “designed to put graduate success and student learning at its heart.” Almost 20% of the WSJ/THE college ranking relies on the annual Times Higher Education U.S. Student Survey, which captures the voices of more than 170,000 U.S. students across all ranked colleges.
É«ÎÑÎÑ was also ranked as a top college by Forbes. Out of 600 colleges and universities that were ranked — among the nearly 2,700 degree-granting institutions in the U.S. – É«ÎÑÎÑ was ranked No. 401. É«ÎÑÎÑ was also ranked No. 211 among private colleges and No. 86 in the South.
The Forbes Top Colleges 2021 website states that “É«ÎÑÎÑ emphasizes experiential learning and more than 700 students complete internships for credit each year.”
The Forbes Top Colleges 2021 rankings comprise seven categories: alumni salary (20%); student debt (15%); return on investment (15%); graduation rate (15%); Forbes American Leaders list (15%); retention rate (10%); and academic success (10%).
